Trinity Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville, North Carolina, is located on a plateau in the shadow of Mount Pisgah, a  5,721-foot (1,744-meter) peak of the southern Appalachians. A congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Trinity was chartered in 1965.

Trinity’s weblog, On Faith and Life, was “chartered” in 2008 as a vehicle for the exchange of thoughts and ideas relating to, well, faith and life. It is written by members of Trinity’s ministerial staff: Mark Stanley, Joe Gernoske, and Dwight Christenbury. From time to time, guest writers also appear. In all cases, appropriate comments and discussion are welcomed!

Why faith and life? Isn’t faith part of life? The easy answer, which happens to be the right answer, is yes. The more complicated answer is that we often tend to separate the two; we need occasional reminders that faith informs life and that life informs faith, and this blog aims to be one of those reminders.

Thank you for visiting On Faith and Life. And the next time you’re in the mountains of North Carolina, you’re invited to visit Trinity Presbyterian Church—the brick and mortar version!
